How did you go about disabling these parameters? Are you using PKM for Event Management rules or are you using ___tuning___ rules? If you're using PKM for Event Management and are getting the parameters disabled but the parameters become active again after restarting the PATROL Agent, it may be that there are also ___tuning___ rules in addition to the PKM for Event Management rules defined for these parameters. If that is the case, ___tuning___ rules take precedence. It is best to use one method or the other and be consistent.

Restore Default Startup Type for Windows Licensing Monitoring Service Automated Restore 1. Select your Windows 7 edition and Service Pack, and then click on the Download button below. Save the RestoreWindowsLicensingMonitoringServiceWindows7.bat file to any folder on your hard drive. Right-click the downloaded batch file and select Run as administrator. Restart the computer to save changes. Make sure that the wlms.exe file exists in the%WinDir% system32 wlms folder. If this file is missing you can try to restore it from your Windows 7 installation media.
